The course aims to introduce students to Public Administrations,
describing the theoretical and practical aspects of their management,
reffering to the latest changes in Intalian legislation and in the European context
Borgonovi, Fattore, Longo (latest edition), Management delle Istituzioni pubbliche, Milano, Egea.
Learning Objectives
The course by a context approach analyses organization, management
and governance of public administrations. It aims to identify the general
characteristics of the public administration's public, investigating the
main evolutionary management, that in recent years have involved the
whole Italian public administration, and monitoring the consequences on
the performance and on the community satisfaction. Subsequently, the
features will be studied and trends in management tools and governance, planning, programming and accountability.
