The course will focus on personnel economics. Starting from the realization that the model of the labour markets studied in the first year microeconomics course is too simplistic, we will analyze the organization of labour within the firm using the instruments of microeconomics. Hence, we will discuss issues such as temporary and permanent contracts, salary bonuses and salary increases due to seniority.
