Course Content
This course provides an introduction to political-economic tourism geography, giving an overview of Tourism as a global, national and local phenomenon, with economic, social, cultural, political, and environmental impacts. Emphasis will be on tourism as an economic and competitive activity as well as on its geographical distribution and sustainable development.

Learning Objectives
The objective of the course is to explore the phenomena of tourism from a geographic perspective. Know and appreciate the tourist territorial differences to plan the tourism development improving competitive and sustainability.
