The course is aimed at developing empirical knowledge and skills related to the management of Human Resources (HR) in the company. The laboratory will cover, through practical exercises, the typical practices of HR management. In particular, after the introduction to the topic of staff planning, the course will address major tools and techniques for: job design, selection, training and staff development, performance management and reward policies.
Material and suggested readings will be provided during classes.

Learning Objectives
The course is intended to develop students learning on how to tackle in an opertive way the problems related to human resource management in organizations. This objective will be achieved through the application of specific concepts through practical Learning tools.

COMPETENICES: Design of Human Resource Management stystems and planning of the staff.
Skills acquired at the end of the course: Ability to independently develop the single processes in the HR such as assessment, selection process and training process.
Teaching Methods
The lab is organized with lectures and seminars devoted to explain application of techniques and tools presented in class though exercises, guest lectures, individual's and group's assignments.
Type of Assessment
The final grade will be the average of assessment on activities carried out douring the course (individual and Group assessments - 60%) and a final individual assessment (40%).
