Course Content
Generic and sectoral (tourism) linguistic framing, as well as methodological, starting from an A2 / B1 level. Analysis of some tourist guides, posters and video ads. Written and oral expression with grammatical knowledge reinforcement through exercises and translation.

Learning Objectives
The training objective is to read and understand an article, a website, a blog that supports particular positions or views at various levels of language; describe, analyze, comment on a campaign, an advertising spot, present a trademark or company that promoted it, translate from Italian into French a text on the same topic.
Prerequisites
At least A2 level of the European Framework for Languages. Better if B1.
Teaching Methods
Lessons and exercises with a frontal character. Power Point presentations as simulations in front of the others students.
Further information
Compulsory attendance for two-thirds of the lessons. Only in duly justified cases of impossibility to attend, students are requested to contact the teacher.
Type of Assessment
The examination is oral with an average duration of 20 minutes. The test is a home-made Power Point presentation.
For 6 cfu it includes 2 parts: analysis of a page or advertising campaign agreed with the teacher; presentation of the brand / promoter of the campaign. For 3 additional cfu, the translation of an advert page into French.
Course program
The topics of the course are: the tourist communication of different regions of France, which implies a geographical, cultural and economic approach of the country; the guide books, analyzed as books to sell and as promotional show cases of a place, are 4 guide books of Corsica 2012.
