The course includes group projects in collaboration with digital start-up companies and the topics covered concern:
- the Business model definition and improvement
- the Revenue model definition and improvement
- market demand analysis
- analysis of the competitive situation.
- social media strategy and web marketing activities;
Each group will work in collaboration with a start up company to develop the project.

Basic knowledge of Management and Marketing pricniples.
Teaching Methods
The course uses innovative teaching methods that consist of activities aimed at developing soft and social skills through blended learning and flipped classroom models where students, through their work group, tackle projects with innovative digital start-ups and present them to the class.

The laboratory is developed in collaboration with the start-ups belonging to the NanaBianca incubator
Type of Assessment
Learning is verified through the
- evaluation of participation in the group project (final group presentation)
- evaluation of the individual contribution to the project (oral interview).
Course program
The topics covered in the course concern:
1. BUSINESS MODELS IN THE DIGITAL WORLD
- the definition of the elements making up the business model
- the definition of the revenue model
- design and improvement of the business model and the revenue model of the project start-up.
2. MARKET ANALYSIS
- analysis of market demand through online and offline marketing research
- analysis of the competitive situation
- identification of competitive levers to be adopted to acquire a competitive advantage on the project start-up market.
3. COMPETITIVE AND MARKETING STRATEGY
- Market strategy development
- Social media strategy and web marketing design
Each working group develops these contents in collaboration with the project start-up.
