endowment of factors and the Heckscher-Ohlin theorem; - The theory of tariffs; -

If the Covid Pandemic has not subsided, the usual written end of course examination will be replaced by an oral examination, to be implementd over the internet.
Course program
The course discusses the real and financial/monetary aspectcs of International Economics.
The course is divided into two main sections.
The first one deals with the pure theory of international trade and with the theory of tariffs.
I the second section are analysed the determinants of both nominal and real exchange rates, along with a detailed survey of the most important open economy macroeconomic models.
Both sections include an historical and institutional discussion of the trade and financial measures introduced by the main industrialised countries from the end of the second World War onwards.
