Quality Assurance

The Schools coordinate the teaching activities (and related support services) provided by the First Cycle Degrees (L), Second Cycle Degrees (LM), Single Cycle Degrees (LMCU), and Specialisation Schools. They also oversee the related services to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality educational experience.

The Schools play a central role in the University’s Quality Assurance System.

At School level, the Joint Student-Teacher Committee (CPDS) serves as a permanent body responsible for monitoring and evaluating teaching activities across the entire educational offer.

The CPDS is also the main body through which students participate in the Quality Assurance System. It monitors teaching activities, provides opinions on the quality of student services, may propose indicators for assessing outcomes, and expresses opinions on the establishment or discontinuation of Degree Programmes.

Within the framework of QA processes, the University has established the role of School Quality Assurance Officer, who works in close collaboration with the Quality Assurance Presidium, providing guidance and support in the drafting of Quality Assurance documents, both at School level and for the Degree Programmes of the affiliated Departments.
