Obiettivi Formativi
to facilitate the phonetics, the correct intonation and the reading of Spanish in its peninsular and Euro-American varieties; to enable students to translate from Spanish into Italian, and vice versa, oral messages and texts (economic, historical-social, political and, especially, tourism-related); accustom them to a good command of spelling, diction, morphology and syntax; introduce them in the colloquial language, progressively expanding the vocabulary (corporate, legal, technical, public relations) in order to reach, as close as possible, concept in the same language. These objectives are met by using an inductive method that does not start from the theoretical norm but from the analysis of the linguistic forms.
Prerequisiti
to attend the course students must have a level of knowledge of the language equivalent to the B1, presenting to the teacher a certificate of equivalence obtained at the University Language Center (CLA, Centro Linguistico di Ateneo). Certificates from other universities or courses held in other institutions are valid for 2 years from the date they are issued.
Metodi Didattici
the course consists of 72 hours of lectures divided as follows: 40 hours of theories and 32 hours of practice. The laboratory will be carried out through paper material delivered by the teacher and with audio-visual material aimed at the auditory comprehension of the language, the translation of the texts, the oral expression. At each lesson, a grammar test will be proposed on what was explained during the theoretical part.
Modalità di verifica apprendimento
students must produce a written report in Spanish concerning a previously agreed topic with the teacher. The draft must correspond to 10 pages in word or pdf format, 12 character, interline 1.5. The oral presentation of the written report can be assisted by a power point and lasts 15 minutes.

Reading exercises on phonetics and phonology. Structure and analysis of verbs: variation of accent, dittongati, sweetened, mellifluous, irregular, irregular absolute, defective, intransitive. Verbal perusal with infinity and gerund. Forms of obligation. "Falsos amigos y modísmos". Conjunctions: copulative, disjunctive, adversative, conditional, comparative, causal, continuative, final, concessive, temporal. The passive voice. Nouns: gender ambiguous, with gender change, with different gender in the target language. Archaisms and neologisms. The economic-tourist sectoral language: text analysis and translation. Phonetics of vocalism and consonantism.
Intonation of the sentence starting from the reading texts distributed to the students. Translations with or without prior reading, analysis, various comments. Dictations: from short to extended, from simple to complex, from slow to fast. Lexicon for semantic and technical-professional fields or through synonyms-antonyms, etc. Morphology of the invariable and variable parts of the speech, with particular attention to verbal conjugations. Current phrasebook, with variations, branches, lateralizations of the schemes and analysis. Conversation exercises in Spanish on extemporaneous topics and / or connected with modern issues. Syntax of linguistic structures, with comparative observations on Spanish, Italian and other modalities.
