Course teached as: B028003 - FRENCH FOR TOURISM Second Cycle Degree in DESIGN OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM SYSTEMS

FrenchThis course takes as a starting point the selection of texts (mostly in French) available on the Moodle platform and deals with a variety of subjects which are closely related to other Second Cycle Degree programmes. Among them:
· Definition and origins of tourism in France;
· Evolution of tourism: touristic systems and e-tourism
· Tourism and environmental protection
· Tourism and the agri-food industry
· Tourism and demographic change
· By analysing the material provided on the Moodle platform, the students will better their comprehension skills and enrich their vocabulary (building also a specialist vocabulary). Exercises on the texts will include summaries aimed at developing both writing and oral proficiencies.Sustainable tourism

The exam consists of two parts - written and oral; further details on the type of assessment will be provided during lessons.
The course is aimed at B1-level students
