This course will give fundamental concepts of entrepreneurial, leadership and business ethics in the light of sustainability. It also provides sustainable business solutions to small or larger-scale.
Students will learn the knowledge and skills to develop their own business or transform organizations to a sustainable companies. The course will enable students to:
1) have a deeper understanding of the role that sustainable entrepreneurship plays in the society as change agents and
2) understand the key challenges that companies face in their work.
Through an examination of the theoretical and practical foundations of sustainable entrepreneurship and leadership, students will learn leadership, organizational and structural aspects of sustainable entrepreneurship.
Learning outcomes:
• To be familiar with the notions of social entrepreneurship and business ethics
• To develop a deep sensitivity and knowledge towards the most critical social and environmental issues which company in Italy and globally
• To acquire an entrepreneurial mind-set in order to overcome such issues
• To develop generic skills to transform organizations into more sustainable companies.

Sustainable entrepreneurship and business ethics is receiving an increasing attention today by international organizations, policy-makers, investors, customers, big corporations and entrepreneurial firms. The central driver for sustainable entrepreneurship and business ethics is the environmental and social problems being addressed in an innovative and sustainable way, with an objective to embed the pillars of sustainability (i.e. economic viability, environmental stewardship, social equity) in building and leading the business. This course not only give fundamental concepts of entrepreneurial and leadership in the light of sustainability, but it also provides sustainable business solutions to small or larger-scale.

Becoming a sustainable entrepreneur
Discover the fundamentals of entrepreneurship: who are the entrepreneurs; types of entrepreneurs; leadership; functions of the entrepreneurs; corporate culture and sustainability
PART 3 The main organizational components:
basic concepts of ownership structure; organizational structure; strategy; governance; marketing; operations.
