Self evaluation test

All students (Italian nationals, EU nationals, EU-equated citizens and non-EU citizens) who wish to enroll in a first-cycle degree program at the School of Economics must take a self-evaluation test to verify an adequate level of preparation for university-level studies of economics and related disciplines. The test is obligatory, but does not bar students from admission in case of low scores. However, students who do not take the test will not be allowed to take course final examinations. Students with low scores will be provided with online learning materials and activities, as well as tutoring services to help them achieve an adequate level of preparation.

The test is usually organized in the period from April to September. Students may also take tests for other Schools of the university. Each test that a student registers for requires a contribution of € 30, to be paid according to the procedures outlined in Bandi di ammissione published at the page. Students can take the self-assessment test through the online test registration.

The language of the test is Italian and it contains multiple-choice questions, divided into three areas: Logic, Reading comprehension , Mathematics.

Each question is scored as follows: 1.00 = correct answer, 0.00 = no answer (blank), -0.25 = incorrect answer. Based on the scores obtained, the test assigns two possible assessments: consigliato and sconsigliato (inadequate preparation). Students with low scores (sconsigliati) will be provided with online course, and a final test.
